If you enjoy a lovely walk along the beach Praia da Falésia runs all the way from Olhos d' Àgua to Vilamoura, some 8 Km in length. Call by the various restaurants and bars on the way, relax and enjoy a refreshing drink when the sun is bearing down, or sit to enjoy the sunset, with the sun dipping into the sea. Many golf courses including the Pine Cliffs course just a couple of minutes away, and the 7 Vilamoura golf courses are only a ten minute drive from Falesia and Falesia beach is ideal to view a stunning sunset over Albufeira. - The perfect finish to a day well-spent.
Falesia is a small village packed with lovely restaurants to suit all tastes. It is very cheap and has cheerful places where families are welcomed.
Falesia is always bustling in the summer months, but it is a lovely place to wander around in the autumn and winter when the crowds have disappeared! Contrary to popular belief - the Algarve doesn't close down - the bars and restaurants are open, as are the shops!
